Its greatest treasure is the Okrąglak (a shopping mall called "Roundy"), whose face stays identical in various street prospects in the center of Poznań. This avant-garde building was designed by Mark Leykam and quickly became an icon of the city, winning the place in the hearts of its residents even today. The modernist building of the Academy of Physical Education at the crossroads of streets Królowej Jadwigi and Droga Dębińska has been designed by the same eminent architect who achieved an interesting effect, however turned ugly due to later uncontrolled corrections.
