The sports hall Arena in Park Kasprowicza has the most spectacular circular shape with its umbrella-like steel roof supported by the frame consisting of 24 steel-concrete elements (and gutters at the same time) that constantly call forth an idea of using them as a slider. It is one of the most interesting examples of Polish architecture of the 70s, otherwise producing mostly prefabricated concrete housing that in Poznań is to be seen in Rataje, Piątkowo or Winogrady districts.
