NATO Secretary General on Warsaw visit
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrives in Poland on a two-day visit starting Monday, mainly to discuss preparations for the Alliance's summit in July in Warsaw.
Stoltenberg will be meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Beata Szydło, Defence and Foreign Ministers Antoni Macierewicz and Witold Waszczykowski.
On Tuesday, Jens Stoltenberg is also to present a speech at the University of Warsaw.
Crucial decisions are expected to be adopted at the NATO summit in Warsaw scheduled for 8-9 July, the Alliance’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in a recent interview with Polish Radio.
“The Warsaw summit is going to be a landmark summit where NATO is going to make important decisions on how we adapt to a more challenging security environment,” Stoltenberg said.
