Poland and V4 partners push for new EU border fence

Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydło and her Visegrad Group counterparts have called for a fence to be installed closing off Macedonia and Bulgaria's borders with Greece, as the refugee crisis continues. - writes thenews.pl

“We expect that at the March meeting of the European Council at the latest decisions will be taken that will allow for real control of the borders of the EU and effective measures to reduce the influx of refugees,” Szydło said on Monday evening in Prague, following the V4 meeting of the Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Slovakian prime ministers.
