Polish president on foreign visits before NATO summit in July

Polish President Andrzej Duda on Sunday opens a series of foreign visits in connection with the upcoming July NATO summit in Warsaw.

The first stop is the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, where the Polish head of state is to meet on Sunday with Poles who live in that country.

On Monday, Duda will be meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart Rosen Plevneliev, who is to award the Polish president with the highest Bulgarian state distinction. The order is presented to foreigners for particular merit in fostering bilateral relations and international cooperation.
