Poland hits new high in FIFA ranking
The Polish national team has moved up from 17th to 15th place - it’s highest ever - in the latest ranking by world football's governing body FIFA.
Poland moved up two notches following their two recent wins in the qualifying rounds for the 2018 World Cup. The Poles beat Denmark 3:2 and Armenia 2:1.
Argentina stays at no. 1 in the new ranking, while world champions Germany have moved up from third to second place.
